Description
The inspiration for this piece came from the steam engines in The Henry Ford Museum in Detroit. They are vey large and impressive in person and quite beautiful.
This piece has been created on a masonite board, covered with antique paper and roughly framed on the back side with aspen wood strips. The design was then painted and drawn on the paper and finished around the border with furniture nails. It has lots of texture and layers.
